Dinner 1998

Sidney Sussex College was the venue for the first CUBB Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony, on 23rd April 1998. Anyone who is anyone in the CUBB world was there, and it was certainly a night to remember. A five course meal was served, accompanied by a selection of fine wines, and intelligent(!) conversation.

In regognition of outstanding achievement throughout the year in CUBB matters, the Annual CUBB Awards were presented after dinner.

The following people were recognised for their contributions to CUBB life:

• Alex Thomson - Award for Outstanding Navigational Skills.
• Chris Muscles - The Chris Green Award for Social Prowess.
• Andrew Leach - Award for Comedy Achievement.
• Paul Bushby - Outstanding Lardy Achievment.
• Ivor Morris - Conductor of the Year.
• Kate Barlow - The George Formby Prize.
• Catherine Tighe - Drinker of the Year.
• Helen Lansley - Devotion Beyond the Call of Duty.
