The third CUBB Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony was again held at Sidney Sussex College, as is becoming traditional. We enjoyed a fabulous five-course meal, the menu of which is included below, and a few glasses of wine (much less than we paid for; ask Gareth why…). Despite the lack of alcohol with the meal, the port began to flow during the dessert and many of us managed to catch up in the bar afterwards, so all was not lost. After dinner, Mike Tildesley, Steve Arnold and Paul Davis presented the Annual CUBB Awards in recognition of outstanding achievements throughout the preceding year. Carrot & walnut soup
Fillet of pan-fried salmon with caper and tomato butter, served with asparagus
Guinea foul forrester with seasonal vegetables (ie. baby sweetcorn, plum tomatoes and potatoes)
